Installation Checklist

To install movm component package, you need to have

• Joomla 1.5.x and Virtuemart 1.1.9 OR Joomla 2.5 and Virtuemart 2.0.0 [It will not work with joomla 1.5 and virtuemart 2.0.0]
• The following folder need to be writeable
  • /tmp
  • /components
  • /plugins
  • /plugins/system
  • /language
  • /modules
  • /images
  • /administrator/components

Steps for Movm Installation

1. Please login to your Joomla! Administration area.
2.  Unzip the package you have downloaded from  movm  site.
3. Proceed to Extensions > Extension Manager (for Joomla 1.5.x Install Extensions > Install / Uninstall).

   At Upload Package File,For joomla 1.5 –> browse and install movm_package_j1.5

   For joomla 2.5 –> browse and install movm_package_j2.5

   In Movm package include a Movm menu, Movmtemplateswitcher plug-in,

   Movm Template and Movm component.

4. Also Browse and Install mod_movm_minicart.zip
5. Activate the module and assign postion  name as“top_cart”.
6. Setting a parameter according your requirement in movm component.

• Template Settings
  • Select a Template Name. (Movm)
  • Select a Template Theme (Red, Blue, and Green)
• Default Template Header Settings
  • Select iphone Template Logo.
  • Select Joomla Search On iphone Template (Default Disable)
  • Select a Social Networking Icon. (Default Disable)

If Select Enable.

• Upload facebook icon.
• Upload Twitter icon.
• Upload Linkedin icon.
• Iphone/iPad Default Template Menu Settings.

1. Home: You can select any menu link in dropdown list. If not selected then consider a movm menu default Home page link.
2. About us: You can select any menu link in dropdown list. If not selected then consider a movm menu default About us page link
3. Store: You can select any menu link in dropdown list. If not selected then consider a movm menu default store page link.
4. Login: You can select any menu link in dropdown list. If not selected then consider login as default
5.  Contact us: You can select any menu link in dropdown list. If not selected then consider a movm  menu default contact us page link.

• Default Modules Settings for Homepage.
  • Movm component provides three modules to choose from:. Featured product, Most popular product and Latest products.
• Default Template Footer Settings.
  • Write the copyright text for the footer.
  • Select a back to top link (default Enable).
